Local H To Release “Straight Outta Zion” Concert Video on August 12th
Local H have announced plans to release “Straight Outta Zion,” a live concert video chronicling the three sold-out shows the band played at Metro Chicago this spring, on August 12. The video, which also includes backstage footage and bonus performances from 1998 and 2014, will be available on Blu-ray and by digital download via G&P Records.
“Straight Outta Zion” was filmed, produced and directed by the pros at Chicago’s JBTV, led by founder and host Jerry Bryant. Bryant and his team captured the energy and excitement surrounding Daniels’ reunion with the band after a 16-year absence. “Straight Outta Zion” can be pre-ordered at G&P Records here.

Local H 20th Anniversary Tour of “As Good As Dead “ With Original Drummer Joe Daniels Joining Two-Man Line-Up. “It’s a big show. We joke that it’s an ‘Evening with Local H’- but it kind of is,” explains frontman Scott Lucas. “It feels more like a theater production than a concert or a gig. Let’s just say that I’ve become a big fan of intermissions.”
“As Good As Dead” will be released on 180-gram colored vinyl on April 15th. This re-issue marks the first time that the album will ever be available in this format. The high-quality, double LP will have a premium gatefold jacket and insert. Additionally, the record will come with a digital download code that will allow access to bonus material from that era.
